Analisis Konten Webometrics Pada Repository Universitas Syiah Kuala Dan Universitas Sumatera Utara

Pendahuluan. Artikel ini berjudul “Analisis konten webometrics pada repository Universitas Syiah Kuala dan Universitas Sumatera Utara”. Tujuan dalam penulisan ialah untuk melihat terhadap kualitas repository institusi berdasarkan pada konten webometrics, yang berdampak pada pemeringkatan webometrics 2020. Metode Penelitian. Dalam artikel ini penulis menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif Deskriptif, sementara observasi dilakukan dengan mengamati serta menganalisis hasil-hasil penelusuran pada perangkat indikator webometrics dengan sistematis dan standar indikator yang ada, data yang dihasilkan untuk setiap indikator konten webometrics terhadap Indikator size, Indikator visibility, Indikator rich file, Indikator scholar pada website repository institusi melalui search engine dan dinormaslisasikan. Hasil dan Pembahasan. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini ialah pada tiap indikator size, visibility, rich file dan scholar pada repository Universitas Sumatera Utara Lebih Unggul dari Universitas Syiah Kuala dengan total rangking pada indikator webometrics Desember 2019 ialah 3,56506 sementara Univesitas Syiah Kuala dengan total nilai 0,83811. Maka selisih nilai total pemeringkatan pada repository tersebut berjarak 2,72695 yang memungkinkan adanya perubahan pemeringkatan terhadap kedua Universitas tersebut. Kesimpulan dan Saran. Dari hasil pemeringkatan repository, Universitas Sumatera Utara lebih unggul dengan nilai 3,56506 sementara Univesitas Syiah Kuala dengan total nilai 0,83811. Maka selisih nilai total pemeringkatan pada repository tersebut berjarak 2,72695 yang memeberi dampak pada tiap capaian dari keaktifan pada setia sivitas dalam mengembangkan repository institusi. Dari hal ini, hendaknya civitas akademik setiap kampus mengiatkan karya-karya ilmiahnya kemudian dipubliskan ke website repository yang telah dimiliki, sedangkan bagi mahasiswa menyerahkan karaya ilmiah berupa makalah ataupun tugas akhir ke perpustakaan kemudian diolah dan disebarluaskan di website repository

The results of this study are that each indicator of size, visibility, rich file and scholar in the repository of the University of North Sumatra is superior to Syiah Kuala University with the total ranking of the December 2019 webometrics indicator is 3.56506 while Syiah Kuala University with a total value of 0.83811 . Then the difference in the total rating in the repository is 2.72695, which allows a change in the ranking of the two universities. Conclusions. From the results of the repository ranking, the University of North Sumatra was superior with a score of 3.56506 while Syiah Kuala University with a total score of 0.83811. Then the difference in the total ranking value in the repository is 2,72695 which has an impact on each achievement of activeness with loyal members of the community in developing institutional repositories. From this, the academic community of each campus should encourage their scientific works to be published on the repository website they already have, while students submit their scientific work in the form of a paper or final project to the library and then processed and disseminated on the repository website.
